How is Facial Liposuction Performed?

Depending on your treatment plan, facial liposuction can be performed with sedation or general anesthesia. Liposuction is performed in many areas of the body and is a fairly straightforward procedure. The surgery requires only a small, well-hidden incision under the chin or in a natural crease at the ear. Once the incision has been made, a special suction device, known as a cannula, is inserted to remove the targeted fat.
